Description:
The NC524SFP is an eight lane (x8) PCI Express (PCIe) 10 Gigabit network solution unique to the ML/ML370 G6 that allows two ports on the system board to be upgraded to 10GbE. This PCI Express Gen 2 upgrade module ships with two SFP+ (Small Form-factor Pluggable) cages suitable for connecting to Direct Attach Cable (DAC) or fiber modules supporting SR, LR, and LRM fiber optic cabling. The NC524SFP allows customers both flexibility and the ability to provision their ProLiant servers with bandwidth for every need.
