This model incorporate a single Linear Tape-Open (LTO) IBM Generation 2 Drive, which more than doubles tape drive performance over the previous generation LTO Generation 1 Tape Drives, up to 35 MB/sec native data transfer rate (70 MB/sec with 2:1 compression).
